What Are Migraines?

A migraine is a recurrent throbbing headache that typically affects one side of your head and is often accompanied by nausea and disturbed vision. Symptoms may include sensitivity to light, sound, smell or touch, nausea and vomiting, lightheadedness, and blurred vision. About 12% of people experience migraines (including children). It’s more common in women than men.
